Step Up To GVM's Transpread Lime and Fertilizer Pull Spreaders

With design and development history spanning over thirty years in spreading technology, covering three continents, GVM now offers it's newest generation of spreaders. Tested extensively throughout the world and offering unbeatable spreading precision. Designed with simple to use controls which offer the ultimate in flexibility saving the farmer both time and money.

Offering the widest spread pattern in the industry, the Transpread is capable of covering up to 100% more acres per day than conventional spreaders, adding significantly to the farmer’s bottom line. Transpread is capable of spreading lime, gypsum, fowl manure, and most types of fertilizers. The Transpread comes standard with split rear doors enabling the farmer to restrict spreading to a single side.

The 5.5 and 8.0 ton spreaders feature a 33" wide even flow belt with cleats that run over completely sealed rollers with stainless steel shafts. This allows the unit to operate at rates as low as 50 lbs. of fertilizer per acre, and as high as 2 tons of lime per acre.

No spreader can spread lime and fertilizer as consistently as the GVM Transpread Pull Spreader. The aggressive tread on the spreader's large flotation tire combined with the traction tire 2 speed press wheel, as well as the press wheel mounting directly on to the shaft of the drive roller, both contributing to a non-slip situation. As the torque on the 33" drag increases, which in turn increases the torque on the press wheel to give a consistent rate per acre even in the wettest of field conditions.
