DirectCommand gives you complete control over anhydrous applicators and both pull-type and self-propelled sprayers, while at the same time, logging data and providing application mapping capabilities. DirectCommand utilizes Ag Leader’s powerful InSight display, which allows you to eliminate cab clutter due to multiple controllers and monitors.
AutoSwath Boom Control
DirectCommand’s AutoSwath boom control automatically turns boom sections on/off as you pass over the field , based on your field map and where you’ve already sprayed. It minimizes skip and overlaps at end rows, fence rows, creeks, ponds or other areas you define – helping you get the best coverage without wasting inputs.
Rate Control. The DirectCommand system matches the real-time prescribed application rate to the target application rate by reading the flow meter and instantly adjusting the control valve. Simultaneously, it reads ground speed from a radar gun or 1 to 10 Hz GPS receiver and adjusts the valve accordingly. The system can also read and display optional pressure sensors, eliminating the need to monitor pressure gauges located outside the cab.
Anhydrous Heat Exchangers. DirectCommand supports the most popular anhydrous heat exchanges for anhydrous application, including the Raven 2-valve system, the Raven 1-valve system and the DICKEY-john system.
Manual Boom Section Control. The DirectCommand system connects and controls up to ten boom valves independently. A simple switch box allows an operator to switch on or off individual boom sections. This is especially useful around point rows, waterways and field borders. The system supports both motorized and solenoid type boom valves. An auxiliary input module is also available for connecting built-in boom and master switches in self-propelled sprayers or other vehicles. |

The INSIGHT display’s DirectCommand™ feature gives you complete control over granular application. The system supports single or multiple product application. You can apply and data log up to 5 products simultaneously, each at variable rates as you cross the field. Manual rate or prescription map control is performed on a bin-by-bin basis. The Insight makes setup easy by displaying product specific settings and calibration values on the operation screen. The system remembers settings and calibrations used for each product and bin combinations so they can be recalled later.
Spinner Spreader Control Modules
• Up to three channels of granular product control.
• Supports PWM or hydraulic servo valve product control.
• Support for bin-level and fan speed sensor.
• Closed loop spinner speed control.
• Automated conveyor calibration routine.
• Module available for use with Mark IV.2, Mark IV.4 and Mark V hydraulic valves.
Multiple Product Prescription Maps
• The INSIGHT display uses prescription maps to adjust application rates based on field position provided by GPS.
• The INSIGHT display supports TGT, IRX and shape files.
• INSIGHT display supports multiple product shape files and can load either one shape file containing two or more products or multiple shape files containing one product each.
• The INSIGHT display shows multi-product prescriptions in one map. That means you can see all areas of the field you need to apply without toggling between maps.
AutoSwath Control. An alternative to manually turning your applicator on and off with the master switch is Direct-Command’s AutoSwath control. Imagine turning around on the ends or finishing out a field without flipping a switch. All it requires is to leave the master switch on and the Insight takes over, precisely turning your applicator on and off based on where you have applied. And… it’s easy to turn AutoSwath off (just one button press on operation screen) to perform functions like manual clean out.
Spinner spreaders. DirectCommand makes spinner spreader control easier than ever before. Installation is easy with one module that connects to your conveyor, bin level sensor and spinner sensor. The system reads ground speed and the conveyor shaft speed sensor (also called rate sensor) and keeps the rate accurate by adjusting a servo or PWM hydraulic valve. The system also supports the Mark IV.2, Mark IV.4 and Mark V series hydraulic valves.
Strip-till Applicators. DirectCommmand for strip-till applicators monitors bin level sensors and fan speed and keeps the rate accurate by controlling a servo or PWM hydraulic valve, plus prescription map control all through one display. DirectCommand not only runs all your air cart bins, but also controls anhydrous at the same time. |
