President and Owner
Mark has been a part of GVM since his father established it in 1975. His career is hinged on entrepreneurship and innovation and he has an extensive background in the agriculture industry.
Mark grew up in the agriculture industry, beginning with working for his grandfather, baling hay in the summertime. Mark began his career in the early 70’s, when Jack Anderson, his father purchased a liquid fertilizer plant and started Andgrow Fertilizer. At Andgrow, Mark worked as an applicator. During the winter months, he worked at the plant where they manufactured the first foam markers in the industry and established GVM. Mark left college in 1982 and began working for GVM as a traveling salesman in the New England states. Mark was awarded the Eastern Region Star Agri-business award from the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and traveled to Australia and New Zealand to represent the FFA at the World Congress. In 1986, Mark became the General Manager of GVM and hired two salesmen to take his sales position. He purchased the company from his father in 1989. During his 23 years as President and Owner, Mark founded and developed AgJunction, which quickly grew to be a 10 million dollar company in just four years. Mark joined the Hemisphere Board of Directors in 2012, when AgJunction was acquired by Hemisphere.
Today, Mark leads GVM with over 30 years of experience in the agriculture industry. He has hired an experienced group of Vice Presidents to help him lead and manage the operations, whom he would confidently trust to run GVM in his absence. Mark aims for GVM to remain a family run business, and hopes that one day his sons, Joe and Shane will take over the company. Joe is a recent graduate from the Eberly College of Business at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, with a minor in Economics and Shane is a currently attending Penn State with a major in mechanical engineering.
Mark actively supports the local school and community and is a well respected business leader.
Vice President of Finance/Controller
Denis has been with GVM for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland where he studied finance and accounting. Denis is responsible for all Accounting and Human Resource functions at GVM, as well as the preparation of Alliance Ag Equipment’s monthly financial statements.
Brandy recently joined GVM as our Purchasing Manager. Brandy has an extensive background in purchasing, from various industries.
Brandy is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science. Following graduation, Brandy worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and as a Buyer for Integra LifeScience.
Brandy’s goal at GVM is to ensure that all materials needed for production arrive just-in-time, in addition to ensuring that GVM has an appropriate amount of inventory available for Distributors.
Fabrication, Production, and Safety Manager
Ron has been with GVM for almost 20 years. Ron has held various positions within the company, including Assembly and Fabrication Supervisor. He is a graduate of Vale Technical Institute where he focused on Automotive Technology. Prior to joining GVM, Ron worked at Pennsylvania Fire Apparatus

International Sales and Marketing Manager
